The aft fuselage and tail feathers look very Cub like, was the airfoil unique in any way ? The wing appears to be adorned with various lift enhancing devices !!
Oh and it needs floats to be a real value.

Looks like you could just pull off the gear, add some outriggers, seal up the fuselage, and start landing on water.

I saw this at Osh and talked with the builder. It was beautifully built and the visibility is stunning. Really interesting airplane.
I wish I had asked about how pitch was affected by power changes but only got there after we had left the plane.
There is a lot to see at Osh Kosh. 4 days and I saw a fraction of what I wanted.

Super cool airplane. I looked it over at OSH and was impressed by fit and finish.
That being said: ANYTHING to do with the engine will be a PITA. Prefight oil check? bring a ladder. How about in the bush?
Any maintenance will be done right over the top of that very expensive bubble. Sure, it can be covered, but Murphy says your going to ding it.

Pretty interesting interview with the builder was posted on YouTube / instagram by 500_agl.
Builder claims that there is no change of pitch forces with throttle input. There is also apparently a maintenance platform which slots into the aircraft for engine maintenance.
Seems pretty awesome to me.

There is a hole in the front door pillar and he has a step that inserts in it to access engine in the field.

That plane looks super cool . Also looks like in the event you pound it in and the motor mount breaks the prop is going to come down right in your face and give you a nice close shave .

This thing is really cool. Its hangered where I fly out of. Ive seen it up close a couple of times. My understanding was it was originally built for someone in Africa who wanted to for spotting game. The double ender didnt go further because of the multi cert required for it was very limiting.

Is the plan to market it as a kit or build from scratch at some point ?

Im surprised the multi was a factor, if you’re spending that kind of money a weekend multi course is a rounding error
Risk wise it’s centerline, so it’s really it’s a multi without the new multi pilot risks
Always thought compared to say tailwheel or complex, the multi was more deserving of just being a endorsement

He visited me today on his way back from OSH. It may or may not already be underway.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
It's available to start via a builder-assist program - they want to ensure each of the units are consistent with their process before creating a full blown "kit" that is shippable to a customer.
Awesome looking machine, better in person than in the few shots and video seen. Personally I feel it will need more power for 4 seats, but would be good for 2.
