Re: Austin, Nevada Fly-in and Lions Club B-BQ August 22

I Clean forgot to give out a few of the awards that we had made up for the fly in, so some deserving souls will be getting them in the mail, I know that Butch Kingston in his Super Cub (Idaho), will be getting the Butt Hole Monkey Drop Award, he made it right into the circle, and Jeff Miller in his Scout (Idaho), will be receiving the Spot Landing Award, he hit the line every time.. Altho there was some arguing among the judges, cause Joe Dory (joecub)(Idaho) hit the line twice from 1500' above with the prop stopped. But it seemed that all had a good time, the Longest Distance Traveled award, I believe will be going to Durango, Colorado to Gary (Shortfielder), and the Lions Club is still arguing as of this morning on the Peoples Choice Award - Best Aircraft... It may end up turning to fisticuffs.. The Best Flyby Award went to Rilla and her partner from California, in the Lear, that was sponsored by the Todd Boys (gtwingman). This fly-in has the whole town all fired up, and everyone is making plans already for next years event. It's a good deal for Austin, the Lions Club, and for me, I had a blast...

Re: Austin, Nevada Fly-in and Lions Club B-BQ August 22

Thank you again to the pilots and owners at the Austin NV fly-in who showed 90% positive support for my new EZ Flap device there. I am pleased to say that I passed my PMA inspection this morning, for all three areas of inspection...manufacturing facility, inspection, paperwork, and quality control.

FAA-MIDO advises me that my PMA number and official letter will be forthcoming within a few days, and that I can accept orders now with their blessing, with the understanding the product will be shipped out once I have the PMA approval in hand.

Also, backcountrypilot.org participants can take advantage of a $50 discount on the first EZ Flap unit sold in each US State as an early-bird incentive. More information is available at http://www.ezflaphandle.com .

Please take my reservation for next year...really wanted to make the trip with a stopover at SL#2 to see my brother by I had definite commitments on Monday and couldn't risk the delay to be back. HC

Howdy JD. Do you have a 2010 date yet? We all had such a great time that we want to put you on our calendar for next year. We hope to bring even more friends. Sure was great to see you.

This is a good enough event that you tell your family to plan weddings and christenings either before or after Austin. For the previous two years I have emailed family and friends to leave that weekend open.

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

And the only little mangy mutt that snarled and snapped at me at Austin 09!

Y'know, I could bring a hot dog bun next year that the little stinker would fit right in perfectly.

Geez... It's a Chihuahua, they all snarl and snap... When they stop doing it the label on the bottom of each dog suggests you take it to the closest vet. #-o [-o<

Ben' Flame suit on' Haas.

Ps. as for the attractive philly in the photo with you @ two mile high.. I don't know what is bigger..your main tires or her tennis shoes. :^o
