Bad Weekend
Debrief, share, and hopefully learn from the mistakes of others.
There were 3 airshow fatalities over the weekend. The best spin the aviation press could put on the tragedies was that no spectators were killed or injured. If the perception grows that aviation is an activity reserved for death defying dare devils, the pilot ranks will continue to dwindle. I'd hate to see a JC flyin in the future where the only arrivals were drones flown by couch potatoes sitting in their living rooms a thousand miles away.

I thought to myself, how did I miss this horrible news, then noticed the byline of the story was 2011.

Oops! I was perusing news stories and assumed this was recent based on its position in the stack. I guess I need to use a check list before I post stories like this!

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
This just in: Lucky Lindy lands safely in Paris!
Naaaa--couldn't be. Sounds like a government conspiracy to me.
