BCP iron-on patches

Updated this post since I received a patch promo today that I have to execute on by tomorrow. Any interest in patches? Answer the poll.

Here's the design:

I also have stickers on hand:

Haven't really been too energized to sell them alone because it's quite laborious to ship them at a reasonable cost.

I dig it. I oddly lean toward to rotary one.

Re: BCP iron-on patches

Zzz,

As I'm the reprobate that launched this plea, let me say that I believe you have made a wise choice, I'm in for the "rotary" design. On a related "back country" theme is it possible to craft a float equipped depiction as another iron on patch option, some of us "lean" that way you know !!

Cheers,

Re: BCP iron-on patches

I think the patch is a great idea. Straight or slanted, I'd buy a few of them for a jacket, back pack and selectively placed somewhere inside 95D.

Re: BCP iron-on patches

+ for the Rotary.

I'd buy a couple as well. I'd put Velcro on the back for one of my jackets that has the spot on the sleeve for Velcro patches.

Re: BCP iron-on patches

Rotary one does look cooler.

But only a Portlandian would put it on one of those hippified Pelican bags.

(did I say that out loud? )

I completely stayed out of the jacket debate. Haven't bought any BCP swag. I'd buy an embroidered patch or two though!

Hippies wouldn’t have anything to do with Pelican cases, solid chunks of plastic designed to carry rifles.

I think you mean “hipster” and you’d still be wrong. Your average hipster would also eschew Pelican cases for something in waxed cotton, wool, or bull hide. They might on to something...

Re: BCP iron-on patches

Either of those designs would also be good as a sticker instead of (or along with) the 4x2" version currently in the store.

I'd be in for a couple. They both look good to me.

Been aching to hear that! Haha.

Been in talks with a vendor. Will have a sample soon and will update the thread. At that point I will establish pricing and put them in the store. No pre-order necessary, I'll just order a bunch if everyone likes the design(s)

Re: BCP iron-on patches

Is it possible to sketch up one depicting either big wheels or floats as a purchase option Zzz ? Happy to make an advance payment if required.

In that case, could I get one with wheel pants?

I'll just go back in my corner now.

Re: BCP iron-on patches

A BC airplane with wheel pants is just wrong, kind of like going for a hike in a pair of Oxford shoes [-X

How about you craft up the trifecta of BC under carriage; big wheels, skis and floats that will cover all the BCP types !!!!

Re: BCP iron-on patches

I will buy at least 10 of each to support the cause. Please let me know where to send the money.

Maybe I can make my own flex fit cap that doesn't look like a hipster trucker cap [emoji2957]

Thanks Zzz
