Seems like the guy had a shitty time already. Throw him bone and help they guy get his plane out of there. Maybe he should have made a bloody mess and at least maybe the ntsb would have hauled it away for you and you wouldn't have anything to complain about.

I've been there, but I have insurance to pay to clean up the mess. If someone is too cheap to pay insurance and then not have the funds to clean up without costing the owner of the strip $$ to fix things up, then don't land on the strip without permission. One thing if you have insurance, but IMO to be doing it without insurance is not cool.
