Best strips for stream fishing?

Moose Creek is a favorite. It's a short walk from Selway River and Moose Creek. There's a trail from the southwest end of the strip that goes to bridges to the creek and the river. Great place for trout fishing!

What’s the most convenient backcountry strip for easy-access stream fishing?

Near us,

Marcy Field in Keene 1I1. Ausable River is just across the road, but the better fishing is a mile hike downstream to Hulls Falls.

Or, Lake Placid KLKP. You used to be able to camp (I think you still can) at the South end of the runway, which is basically at the Ausable River as well. Then take the free shuttle into town if the mood hits you.

Or, our strip 0NY0 and I will loan you a janky outfitters vehicle to drive to a bunch of nearby streams. If your lucky it will be a purple and yellow mini bus

I'm keeping that secret. I learned a long time ago not to tell people where I killed big bucks and bulls. Anyway the best airstrip accessed fishing for me is a lake.

Ditto. The process of finding your own personal favorites is what it’s all about. Get out there and explore.

If you kill enough big Bucks word gets out (No bulls here unfortunately). I see sign of people where I hunt occasionally but after a couple of days or a season, most head to flatter ground. Streams here, no real secrets, I'll let that info out. The backcountry ponds on the other hand, well, those you have to figure out on your own.
