C 180 prebuy near Boston
Owning an aircraft has many special considerations like financing, taxes, inspections, registration, and even partnerships. You can post questions on buying and selling procedure. Please post type-specific questions and topics in the
Types forum.
Hello All,
After a long search I have a deposit on what I hope will soon be my Skywagon!

I am looking for recommendations of someone familiar with 180's to go take a look at the plane. If it is as nice as represented I will move on to prebuy/annual. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
BTV

Thanks Mike. I have a good feeling about this one. Low time and long time owner with consistent flight times for the last 20 years. It is unbelievable how hard it is to find a good clean straight 180. I'm still flying the S7 every chance I get. Come down and we will go play in the canyon.

Careful Brandt... Might wanna keep this one under your hat until papers are signed. Tom has been feverishly looking for a 180. You don't want him rolling up there from the Cape and sniping your bird!

I wish I could but I have a backhoe on the way out to fix a major leak. The rans is down, finishing up installing a thermostat and a heater. Ups has the rest of the parts out for delivery right now. Too bad, it is absolutely beautiful out.
Next time!

Which is more important-- good, clean, or straight? Sometimes you have to just be satisfied with two out of three.

If you need another mechanic, I can recommend Don from the Hampton Airfield 7B3

Would it be safe to assume the name of this thread should be changed to "C 180 purchase near Boston" ????
