Finally made it home yesterday. Great trip and lots of fun learning my new bird. I can't say a big enough thanks to 55wagon for making the trip.
The plane was at Hampton Airfield in New Hampshire. It is a neat little airfield with a great cafe. We really enjoyed visiting with the previous owner and his friends who hang out there.

Previous owner took great care of this bird the last 20 years

Jason is not a fan of the New England cold.
On Tuesday we flew down to Plymouth, Mass and hung out with Bigrenna.

Early Wednesday morning we were off to Nappanee, Indiana to visit Garrett, one of Jasons friends. It was a fun couple of days there checking out spray planes and having Garrett fix a couple of small issues he found.

I wanted to take it for a spin.

The 180 tucked away in the front of the maintenance shop.
Friday afternoon we headed for Corpus Christi. We went up to 6500' and enjoyed smooth air and 195-200 mph ground speed the whole way.

Almost to Corpus Christi

Yesterday I flew the last leg back to Amarillo.

Almost home!

Put away in her new home.

Thanks to all the BCP'ers who have helped in my search for the right plane. It has been great making new friends along the way. I am so happy to be in the 180 owner ranks and now understand why these are such magical birds.
The plane is a 1960 with 2050 TT and 1000 since factory reman. It is really clean and straight. Good avionics and unmodified airframe.
