The plane is a 1960 with 2050 TT and 1000 since factory reman. It is really clean and straight. Good avionics and unmodified airframe.

Congrats Brandt! Good looking bird. Looks like you hit the jackpot!

Looks like it was a fun trip! Do you have a write up in the works? I still haven't finished mine and wish I had. Maybe next month...

Congrats! Post more pictures!

Very nice!!! That pic in the home hangar is my favorite angle for looking at a 180.

Previous owner took great care of this bird the last 20 years.

She looks great! Amazingly low airframe time for a 55 year old airplane.
The previous owner looks like he may be feeling some regrets in this pic-- I don't blame him but his loss is your gain.
Looks pretty much like the 1955 factory paint scheme, which is about the best looking one of all the different years IMHO. Yours is not the first non-1955 model that I've seen with it.

Flew out to a friends ranch today.

I agree on liking the classic paint schemes the best. This plane was repainted in 1987. Paint is in amazing condition for its age.

Re: C 180 prebuy near Boston

That was a fun trip.
Was a bitter sweet moment as I was fortunate enough to be on the owners last flight.
He is a heck of a nice guy. He held it together a lot better than I would if I was watching my girl of 20 years fly away.
Really glad I got to meet him.
Brandt did a hell of a job flying that 180 in some crazy winds and some white stuff falling from the sky that I'm not to familiar with. Also seemed like the water on the ground was frozen... Is that normal? Y'all can keep that.
Smooth flying, excellent handling, clean sweet bird.
Can't wait to see where she goes from here. They always look happier on dirt to me.
Thanks Brandt for having me along.
Good to meet ya Greg. Thanks for the help.
Time to start a mod thread BTV (;
