is it set for May 4-5? Just did my first Moab local flight and realized I can drive to caveman. Count me in for Sat night dinner - 2 total, probably will not stay out as its only 30min car *gasp* drive from my house.

I wrote this somewhere else but here goes again.... When Jean and I were in Moab last year we tried to drive to caveman and got to the dirt road on the west side of the river which runs parallel to the railroad spur line that services the potash settling ponds.... we kept going till we got to a rather large flat area where several roads come together to service the settling ponds.. they're for potash incidentally...one off to the left had a private road do not enter sign which in retrospect we think was cavemans... we didn't go down that road but kept going down stream on the west side of the river for about 6 miles or so... We did this in a Audi Q5 with all wheel drive but any 2 wheel drive can do it as the road is good... don't know about the caveman road but I bet it's fairly good too...but I'll bet it takes longer than a half hour if I remember right....give yourself an hour and a half for the trip...we spent all day on our drive down there..
