Cessna cabin wires

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Re: Cessna cabin wires

Anyone with experience installing these? Can it be done with the windshield in? How do you locate the holes to cut where the rods penetrate the glareshield?

Could never get them approved.
Ended up installing the FA Dodge v-brace.
Good luck.

Not sure I follow that; isn't it STCd, or perhaps wasn't at the time you tried it?

Re: Cessna cabin wires

yes you can install them with the windshield in place. I tried to find my install pictures but have lost them. Maybe Gary "shortfielder" will chime in. I had sent him pictures and a diagram of measurements for his 180. Its not that hard of install just takes time. 46tcrft

Re: Cessna cabin wires

I know this is an old thread but I ran across it looking for dash photos with flying wires. I posted photos on my rebuild thread so might as well link them here as well.
