Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
I do not work at Death Valley, but at my park we are trying to figure out how the current status and trajectory not only of the disease itself, but also of health care availability, state mandates, etc. will impact our ability to keep our employees safe. NPS staff have a lot of public contact, and are required to respond to public health and safety issues, and it is the agency's job to make sure they are equipped to do it safely. We are especially having trouble with the last part of that phrase...equipped to do it safely...in relation to this disease.
