Winter has returned to Colorado. It was 61F on Friday, tomorrow HIGH of -2F, low of -24F. It will probably be back in the 50's next week. :D

ImageImageWe didn't blow up defueling into plastic hotrod150. So I did the lighter in the tank to see if it would blow up. Still here. 260 mile drive now to weld.

Cheers

Steve, that is a real life photo right out of a Normal Rockwell or Thomas Kincaid collection. Very nice.

Good day BCP friends

Dave and I went out to Drifter's strip yesterday to say hi, but nobody around.
His 1200ft strip is as nice as his supercub!

Zane,
Sometimes you just get lucky on a shot. It is hard to beat the beauty of winter. With all the outdoor activities available up here, it is probably our favorite season.

Today was beautiful, with a nice light winter haze just barely perceptible.

Twin Oaks -> Valley View -> Sandy River -> Troutdale (21G28) -> Grove -> Twin Oaks

Re: Good day BCP friends

Probably passed you somewhere today Z.

Rented the pacer. Flew Scappoose, TTD, Sandy River, down the Columbia to the coast and overflew Willapa Bay, Willapa Harbor, TTD and back to Scappoose.

Great flying weather and clear all the way to the coast, very rare this time of year.

Good day BCP friends

Rob,
By the looks of that bar the annual must have went ok......or you are drinking your sorrows away. Hope it went well!

Flew to Medford today, what a perfect day to be in the air in the Pacific NW!

What's the deal with Table Top Mountian, sounds like no planes allowed, but it's not enforced?
Medford Tower could see you land from their tower. From the looks of it no one could drive up on you.

Zane,

Are you renting the Sport Cub at Twin Oaks? Looks like a fun plane. Do they still have their J-3 and J-5?

Re: Good day BCP friends

My DSL Modem died. I had to finally get on the phone for an hour with Frontier Communications. They sent the repair tech out and I am back on the net.

Next week FAA physical.

M7 is all good. 21 days till I head to Mexico.

Cheers

Zane: you seem to be flying a lot. You must have good connections. You did sell your plane right?

Re: Good day BCP friends

Cheers back at you, buddy.

Good day today. Weather turn to poo for the next few days.
I'll spend some of that downtime putting my new computer together during the downtime as this phone interface is tedious.
