Awesome! You are all set. That would be so nice to have a hangar for both floats and wheels.

Looks great! Those old tractors are great. If you want to sell the loader I know someone who's looking for one... haha.

You should be able to "make it fit" with the Green Machine, nothing runs like a Deere

I am going to sell the complete loader kit actually. It's not needed for what I'm doing.

Fantastic! Probably dont need to say this but painting/taping or somehow marking a centerline on the hangar floor really helps in tight situations. I have a line in my hangar and sure am glad I do. I find it odd that I see a lot/most hangars with no centerline and a tight fitting airplane that is why I mention it. Congrats on your set up!

And here it is when it all comes together. I can jump around opening hangar doors etc. and my Dad, old hand on the tractor that he is, launches and pulls the plane for me.

You had better take him for the occasional "fishing" trip.

That was one of the big drivers for moving to the 185. Additional capacity so we can do fishing trips with Grandpa and all my kids. I've got a number of trips planned for this season and picked up a Porta-bote and 2hp motor so we can hit up a few remote spots where I've found monster trout.

Nice setup! I would figure out a hitch for the FRONT of that tractor, though.....a LOT easier to maneuver a plane looking forward.

If he can manuver a hay wagon an airplane is a "walk in the park"

Tractor operating is one area that I am professional level at, even if I'm pretty green on the airplanes. That being said I probably will weld up a front hitch and plumb hydraulics to the front for the benefit of my plane partner.

I've maneuvered a hay wagon or two. I make about 30,000 small squares each summer.

I can hardly believe I'm the first person to bring this up, especially since other than lawn tractors the only real tractor I've ever run was a Ford with a brush hog attachment, and I assumed that my Canadian friends that are farmers would have caught this....but Fraser Farmer I'm pretty sure that John Deere of yours, as cool as it is, won't go nearly fast enough to launch the 185. I think you need a John Deere more like this. Just saying.
