I have a mini ipad and purchased a "supossedly" glare shield from the apple store but am not happy with it. Has anyone tried Sporty's or any other with any success

Does your screen protector have a gloss or matte finish? The matte finish protectors I've used have been way better at cutting glare. Can't remember the brand that I currently have but it was $25ish for an ipad mini with matte finish. I fly a Pacer with a full length sky light and mount the mini near the top of my panel which means it's almost always in the sun but with the protector glare is rarely a problem.

The screen protector I had put on my Mini at Best Buy isn't bad--but not a mat finish--have to look for one of those next time. When I first installed my Mini on the yoke, the glare was more than I liked. But what I discovered was that I reduced the glare issue a lot by wearing a dark shirt!

I have a matt finish which also dulls the screen a bit.

There are probably a gazillion screen protectors out there, and I'm not sure which one I have.....got it at Target.

In any case, it really helped to reduce glare substantially. It does have a matte finish.
