Re: January 6-22 Or, Az, Ca, Nv.

I doubt you'll be going home by way of UT, but if you do Rob, stop in. I'm home until the 25th and would buy you lunch. Of course, if you need a place to wait weather out or what not, you are always welcome too.

I sure wish your trip was a few weeks later. Looks like we might be headed down to Furnace in two weeks for a marathon if my leg will let me run it. If we are able to go, we'll jump over to Chicken Strip to spend a night.

Red Creek, http://www.shortfield.com/index.php?opt ... =-111.7274

Alamo Lake is west of Phoenix, google Alamo State Park and you'll find it.

Redcreek is about 20 miles West of Payson Az. (KPAN) on the Verde River, Alamo Lake is Northwest of Wickenburg Az (E25), I don't know.........40 miles or so?

I'm in. What time. I'll bring along some ideas we can talk about. I found quite a few airstrips on some 1940's topo maps. Might be fun to look for them and see if they are candidates for a SW circuit.

It looks like a system coming through. Up at 5 or 6 thousand feet it looks windy.

I understand that Lovelock feeling Rob. I have been sitting in Fallon for the last week waiting for a good weather window. 5 feet of snow at my home. Now the forecast is showing 7 more days of bad weather.
