Pretty sure I saw that plane on the beach at Douglas River this summer. Don't see many Sedans out and about, so it stuck in my mind. Would love to have one myself, have always heard they are great planes.

That plane looks really familiar, as does the tail number. I can wade through old logbooks, but I'm pretty sure I've instructed in that one.

That would be funny, but not really unexpected our world of flying is pretty small.

Hey Troy, that is the same one. Jerry called me out of the blue about three weeks ago to see if I wanted it. I had been looking for a 180 sedan for a while so I said yes contingent on the prebuy. I don't think I will be crossing the inlet with it much, except maybe to explore the beaches for glass balls sometime.

It is one of my favorite pictures. I landed in a river and slid right up on a sand bar.this was my first year of owning it. I am on the sat phone with my wife telling I am gonna be late for my next flight.

Fortunately this is a tidal river, so twenty minutes later the plane was floating and we were on our way.
