Easy killer lol

Yeah I agree, I really prefer the durability and look of the pelican, but I didn’t realize until this topic (and thanks for all the info) that the luggage works, despite being the same exterior size, is 30% larger on the inside

Got some tape measure work to do

Not sure what your gig is but if you are dragging the bag a lot you will want a good way to secure your flight kit to the Pelican. I'm sure you can but your picture does not show a means.

Nice view of airline pilots LOL. Be that as it may I've never once seen a pilot with a Pelican bag on the road. You can start the trend.

Re: Need some Pelican/bag help

I don't fly Rosie corporately if that's what you mean.

Just trying to help. Not need to get snarky. Get a Pelican as it seems to be what you want.

I fly for a major and lot's of 180/185 and various GA.

It’s a joke, relax lol

And honestly thanks for the info on the luggageworks, I didn’t think there would be that much of a interior size difference

Re: Need some Pelican/bag help

I've had a Brightline bag for 10+ years and use it on average once every week or two. I love it. Maybe the older ones were constructed better? The only real wear it has gotten is the rubbery material on the top of the shoulder strap. I rarely fly the same plane twice in a row and this holds my headset, spare batteries, fuel sumper, a full size clipboard, kneeboard, sunglasses, gloves, pens, gum, a granola bar or two and all the other little bits and pieces that are handy when flying and you don't know what plane you are getting in next. I like all the little individual zipper organization with colored zipper pulls so you can differentiate which pocket has what.

Pelican case as an everyday carryon… that’s wild lol. I say hell yeah, let er rip. Throw some molle and Velcro on the outside to bolster the image

I’d say far more soft shoed types rocking pelican for their drones and cameras than tactical types

Most of my gun stuff, and most serious gun folks I know go out of their way to have it not look like a gun case

I just don’t like the fabric rolley bag look, and the damage they seem to always take

My airline buddies rave about theirs and how easy it is to send it end with some money every few years for repairs, here I am like what about just getting something that won’t need to be repaired every few years and isn’t made out of fabric and zippers?

Guess that makes me a tactical rebel? ;)

So why did you go to the trouble of asking for our collective opinions, another addition to the "blocked" list.... GOODBYE

Because I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with that bag and what other good options were out there?

Didn’t mean to get you worked up over bags, guess it’s a sensitive topic with some lol

Another member had to chime in almost as many times as the original poster did.
You know, the one that thinks you can’t moderate on your own.
That’s the worst kind of bitch.
