A Super Pacer, Bushmaster or some variant of a stretched Pacer has often crossed my mind as a project to taken on. Many of the enhancements available for the Piper wing are works of art, engineering and the ultimate in aerodynamic eye candy.

I feel the same way. There is a semi neglected stretched pacer for sale near me with an io360… this video isn’t helping my urges.

Video was awesome! Looking forward to more deep dives on what people are flying up there!

Ohhhhhh, Seabee cool. At some point I know I'm going to want a x-country rig, maybe a Globe Swift with an 0-360 under the hood.

Re: New Off Airport YouTube Channel

I've owned different kinds of airplanes in series because I've never been able to afford more than one at a time. It would be nice to win the lottery so I could have a stable of flying machines to choose from for the ideal mission each day. Sadly, you have to buy a lottery ticket to win. Since I refuse to spend my money that way, my odds of hitting the jackpot are marginally lower than for folks that actually buy a ticket. I'm still pretty darned lucky to have been able to afford even 1 plane at a time. No real complaints, but it is fun to see what other pilots are climbing in and flying. This is a particularly nice build.

At this point, would not take much more to strip your fuselage and do the extension. Biggest hurdle is modifying your wings.
Of course it will add way more trips from MN to OR

Re: New Off Airport YouTube Channel

I really liked Pat's story. I think what strikes a chord with people (or at least to me) is many of us are or have been in similar situations with little money yet it works out if we try (and having good friends is huge too). Pat's story is just so relatable and that's what drew me in. Today, I'm in a different yet similar situation in ministry with young adults and thought I wouldn't be able to afford an airplane again. Yet against the odds, with a lot of sweat equity instead of debt, I am back flying in an airplane I built. What funded my airplane was the 2 Covid Stimulus packages we received and invested them into a flying machine. This machine is funding my next project, a wrecked Rans S7.

I hope this encourages others like it did me. Thanks for sharing Pat's story.
