Lower Loon. For those that don't know they have a great breakfast! I'll post on a few sites the information for it. Especially Shortfield.com If you let them know they can have it going/ready but if you just show up it'll take a while to start breakfast from scratch. The banana muffins Stephanie makes are Amazing!

Thanks for posting fellas, Piper is your mutt a Kelpi ? and Jaerl nice historic pics, does anyone know about the early history of this place, how they made their living etc. So far the best coverage of a JC fly-in I've seen.

I have several pics of some of the larger strips and some of the private strips from the 40's or so with vintage planes (incl JC with a Trimotor and a unidentified biplane like a Moth or Jenny in the distance). The Trimotor was unloading what looks like mining equipment.

Rob took Steve (M5Guy) and I into Wilson Bar on Saturday after breakfast. This was the first time in the BC for me and I had a blast. It was a real treat meeting everyone.

If someone has any footage or still of the old Commander taking off or landing (or just sitting) at JC, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't have hardly any footage of her taking off, flying etc.

Thanks,
Adam

I was trying to find you and have a chat, but every time there's was no one around. I love the paint scheme on the Mooney and great to see another "odd" backcountry plane. :D

Mucho kudos to you Piper taking ya Mooney there, way beyond my skills. Have had mutts all my life, in fact how do you tell who loves you the most, the wife or the dog. Lock both inside a car boot for three hours and when you open it one will have a tyre lever in their hands wanting to beat you to a pulp, and the other will be so glad to see you they'll be wagging their tail and licking you to death. :D
