I wanted to check the status of the aiport closure issue. I currently live in Montana but grew up in Corvallis and spent lots of time in the area and just love it! I suspect I will be over (not GA) around Feb/March and might look at a lot or property at the airport myself. Thoughts??

The state is backed away from closing it for now. I've been told the issue can come up again just about any time.

For sure let me know when you're coming out like to get together with you and chat. I know were all the good lots are that are for sale or potentially might be for sale.

Sounds like good news for now. I will drop you a note when I head that direction. Best guess for now is mid-February.
