Photo thread: Show Us Your Plane!

Ive been thinking we need a thread where people can showcase their ride. Hope you don't mind Zane- It would be nice to see the planes that go with all these great stories. Many have posted plane pix but their posts get archived never to be seen again and those tiny Avatars blow. We need to see full-size birds. I'm a little reluctant to start as I don't have a macho, fire-breethin backcountry bird....but I'm workin on it......and what the hey...its paid for!!

Come on Guys and Gals, step-up and show your ride! Owned, borrowed, rented, stolen, past, present...what have you. If you fly it, lets see it.

Matt and Pitman,

Those Stinsons are both very sweet. I have never had much interest in one but I can see the virtues more and more every day that goes by. It has to be a sleeper.. a lot of plane for the buck. 8) 8) 8)

Re: Photo thread: Show Us Your Plane!

In order of when we got them.....

#1.....1953 Super Cub...was originally bought by my grandfather in 1966...

Image

#2.....1956 Pacer...bought by us in 1980 as a Tri-Pacer...converted to taildragger and installed 0-360 lycoming in 83.

Image

#3.....1956 Tri-Pacer....do not have any photos of our PA-22...we bought it to use for R&D purposes with STC developments.

#4.....1963 Cherokee 180....to be used for our taildragger STC if (and only if) we get the tail wheel system passed through the FAA.

First US completion of Tundra. Picture taken in farm yard where it is hangared. So easy a farm boy could do it, I don't graduate to Caveman until the Utah fly in.
