V1VRV2- what in the world of aviation is this parts heap? It looks like you went to a junk yard and put about three or four planes into one. You should post more details it looks really cool. Kinda like a maule pacer cub.

Just got my plane back from getting the Heavy duty nose fork installed, along with new 6.00x6 nose tire and 8.00x6 mains. Very happy with the outcome. Going camping somewhere next weekend, now just gotta figure out where.....

Last weekend trying out our new camera

Well guys its a Bittner-Four designed and built in Ontario Canada in the late 70’s. Mr Bittner wanted a 4 seat bush capable Airplane he used a Piper Super Cub wing and Tail profile. Built the fuselage and incorporated folding wings, ski and float fittings the vertical fin seems to be DeHavilland Beaver/Otter ish as well as the Yoke with centre arm and 2 yokes off of it. Im told he was a design Engineer with DeHavilland worked on the DH2/3 team.
With the vortex generators I am able to get off in 250 ft at gross empty weight is 1250 lbs gross is 2200 which leaves me with 950 lbs useful load. Its powered by an O-320 E2D ported/polished, + high compression pistons and a beautiful Catto Prop.

The OUTCAST, a one off, heavily modified Rans S-7, made to look as much like a Super Cub as possible, by Joel Milloway. The owner is an old Cub pilot, but now no one will hang with him as it ain't a Cub and the other RANS pilots want nothing to do with him, thus the name, and yes that's a joke!



The CT LSA, German made I believe, Rotax of course, he stopped by for fuel while I was there. The doors seal up like a refrigerator, or fine car. All carbon airframe and just overall a super clean low drag airplane. 34 gallons capacity, he took on 21+ gallons and mentioned he had been flying 7 hrs., not bad! No lift struts helps a lot, big cockpit also.

I love Jimmy's Outcast cub Tom, and the concept by Joel. Its got a number of other little improvements in it. Our group S7 was wrecked and trying hard to come up with the scratch to have Joel repair it as an Outcast cub. REally, more of a mini Carbon Cub . He is working on a new spinner and cowl, as well as molded windshield as he might have told you.

I'll likely make a trip up an fly Jimmy's plane sometime this summer - hopefully get a couple from our group to come and push them over the edge!!
