Not sure I'd call it "enhancing" a canyon turn, but when I make a level turn at a relatively slow airspeed, say about 80 mph, I don't think I fly them any different, but there's a certain comfort feeling when the needle only goes part way into the yellow--that tells me I have a lot of lift left and could tighten up the turn if I needed to.
