I'm amazed at the critiques people post about flying videos put together by fellow pilots on this board.
I don't like the music you used.
I don't like any music with my flying videos.
Where's the music.
Too fast.
Too slow.
Not enough of this.
Too much of that.
Anybody who has had their sensibilities offended in such a manner, or any other manner, should definitely ask for a refund of the high price of admission they paid to watch the video in the first place.
As someone who fumbles around and posts the occasional video (many of which I don't even like very well myself, after I go back and watch them again), I can tell you what a labor of love it is to do a video. They're a lot of damn work to put together (if you are as inept as me, at least), and some of us are reluctant to even post them in the first place (my computer is littered with videos I didn't think were worth sharing).
If you don't like something about a video, or you don't like the video entirely, then don't watch it. Better yet, go make your own video to show all of us pikers what a masterpiece really looks like. But posting negative comments about a video only has the effect of discouraging that person, or future people, from doing more videos. I don't want to discourage people from doing flying videos, I want to see them all--good, bad, and ugly.
IMHO, nitpicking someone's video is like telling them their kid (or at least their dog) is ugly. Just because it may be true doesn't mean you have to say it out loud.
Rant off.
