Re: Rant Re: Flying Video Critique

I guess if I were making videos for hire or for profit I would try to choose the broadest of audiences and take to heart some critiques (not all!), but I don't. The few videos I've made have been for me to document this amazing chapter in my life. You're just lucky I share them with you :D . And so far the fathers (and maybe mothers?) who have watched the flying video trips I've made with my kids have left polite comments because they understand what I'm saying and the people who don't get it have been polite enough to move on and keep their :-& comments to themselves and not bag on me or my kids (not that it would matter to me because I've already fulfilled my purpose for making the video). Everyone is entitled to their opinions. You just don't have to oblige them.

FWIW,

CW

PS I kinda like them all too! Nice work everyone!! =D>

Re: Rant Re: Flying Video Critique

Let's face it. Greg Swingle sets the bar kind of high. I'm just a video hack compared to him and others on here. But I enjoy filming my adventures and posting some of it. I get enough positive feedback to continue. I feel that if you like it, you'll watch if not, relief is just a click away. Many of the videos on here have given me ideas to try in mine. Keep them coming.

I bet even Greg gets Negative Feedback on his videos. When I first saw them I thought "this guy is wasting his time filming airplanes, he should be in Hollywood". Lucky for us he has chosen to make great flying videos. I try and just keep my airplane clips short and the camera stable as to not be painful to the viewer.
