Zzz, thanks for providing the "aviation grade" pharmaceuticals that feed my addiction.

All of the above! This site has been informative, entertaining and well run. Can’t say enough. Thanks Zane!

Re: Reporting In: 20 years of BCP

Thanks for the kind words, everybody.

While it’s nice to have a little dough to keep the place running and feel like I have an aviation job, the thing I value most is what we have built. And the friendships. 20 years is roughly a 1/4 of a person’s life, and the memories are invaluable. I’ve made some real brothers for life here and I hope many of you have too.

Thank you Zane for all the hard work over the past 2 decades. The glory days were sure fun! Personally, I've met more lifelong friends from this website than from anywhere else.

Hope to met more of you in the backcountry sitting around a campfire.

"The only downside is if all of this is causing people to buy a Maule. That should be closely examined."

Rude.

Also, congrats Zane. What you do here is pretty amazing and we appreciate it.

No: "sarcasm" which admittedly doesn't always translate well.

Why would someone want something with easier access, more comfort and faster than what I have? Also "sarcasm."

*cough*

Congrats on 20 years buddy. I need to come up and see you again.

Nah, that was funny. Do you remember the "just buy a Maule" days?

Re: Reporting In: 20 years of BCP

The modern ways of communicating information with social media don't hold a handle the archival capabilities of BCP and the context that's preserved in a forum post. I often find myself back here digging through old posts for gold nuggets - and it's easy diggings!

Coming up on 11 years as a member (and a few more before that as a lurker) - how time flies when all you do is talk about flying!

I've been here on BCP since pretty early on.
I'm definitely a late comer to "social media", aka FB,
but I participate in a few aviation groups there as well.
I don't think FB & BCP are or have to be mutually exclusive.
I do see some familiar names there, and I'm sure many others are BCP regulars using other user names.
That said, congrats Zane, & thanks for running this place.
It's provided a lot of enjoyment & useful info over the years.
