SQ2'n in Alaska

My first Alaska gravel bar landing (not counting the Knik three years ago during the pre-buy) on the way to Kenai Fjords.Image

My friend Bobby has already landed. You can see the iceberg area in the background.

You are SO right, and you can bet that's not lost on me.

Flew through the mountains to Homer today to have dinner. Saw Caribou, Moose, and Mountain Goats on the way. Flew the beach all the way back and found this cool spot.

Re: SQ2'n in Alaska

Never in my wildest imagination did I think I’d tell a cabbie “pick us up at the Time Bandit”. They were trying to get her back in the water during high tide when we arrived, but didn’t make it.

Did I see you on the field at PASX yesterday gassing up? I was taxing for takeoff when you landed and asked about fuel.

That be me. Drop by my place anytime. If you see my truck and plane I'm home. 1400' grass strip just east of Scooters. Be great to meet.

Sounds good. I just bought 4 acres down the street from you by Morgan's landing. I'll PM you sometime, I'd love to meet up.
