There maybe some unusual situation where you may not get all the fuel out, I don't know, but for 99.9% of "normal' flying, most of the fuel in the tank was usable. I thought it was an easy/affordable way to increase fuel capacity y 10 gal+_. I'd do it again.

The paperwork say 52 gallons capacity , 48 gallons usable. Believe me you can use every drop of that 52 gallons in normal flight.

Did you modify the tanks with fore and aft pickups? I don't doubt you could get most of the gas out of these tanks, just wondering if you can get around the legality of 9 gallons unuseable fuel.
