That time of year…

Around this time each year I like to remind folks of Zane’s hard work and hint hint hint that this site is run in large part by the donations and support of its members.

If you dont see a little note under your avitar saying your a supporter, it’s because your not…

If your not, or your contribution is coming up on 12 months, take a second and follow the link at the bottom of the page that says “donate.”

Thanks Zzzzz

Re: That time of year…

Greg, excellent idea. Let's make this easy; is there a minimum donation and what is the easiest way to donate. Start up/taxi/run up gas is probably $10-$20; WTH, shouldn't be a problem. I'm in.

Thanks for that reminder, medium Greg.
Thanks, Zane, for the great virtual space for backcountry hangar flying!

Re: That time of year…

Greg, I appreciate you passing the hat for me...lol. But seriously, it is nice to have the donations when all the site related bills come in.

Thank you to daedaluscan, 185midwest, squash, hotrod, and all the others who've recently donated or are on a annual/monthly supporter plan.

I need to do my annual post that recognizes all the supporters. Thanks again.

Sorry Kurt, we only accept personal deliveries via Husky. 8) Maybe it's time for a PO Box here in Eveleth.

A pure credit card option for paypal haters: https://store.backcountrypilot.org/donate

Ya'll are awesome. Good on you for supporting independent flying websites. No remarketing or selling off your private data here.

Thank you Oregon180, Bula, 180Marty, KG, Slow18, and ZPilot for the annual donations.

Lots of monthly subscription people I'm not mentioning today but they'll show up in the "Thank You" post I'll generate this weekend.

So,

Stupid Luddite question. I believe I signed up for an annual donation last year. How do I confirm that and make sure I have the correct cc info in there? Looked around and couldn’t sort it out.

You’re right that it’s sort of enigmatic to find the place to manage recurring payments in PayPal. Someday I will switch to a system that’s totally housed at BCP, but for now this is the only way.

Try logging into PayPal first, then click this link:

https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/autopay/

It should allow you to manage payees and payment methods.
