Time to Shine

To all the BCP brethren sporting floats lets cure the out of season blues with some photos, I'll start it off with a sunrise.

Re: Time to Shine

Pilots perspective Southeast, AK in the summer, touch down/takeoff in the ocean:

Caution: regular use of seaplanes may become addictive and you may unwillingly display overt behavior as a pilot. ha ha !!

Re: Time to Shine

June in Watson Lake headed for the cabin. 77 year old mom with me. Nice week together.

Fuelling up in Fairview on our way to the cabin in September. I had a share in this 172 also. The previous owner still flies it and brought his son. The fellow on the ladder is the Aircraft Maintenance a Engineer and friend who keeps my airplane airworthy. Left the 172 at CYQH and flew us all to the cabin in two loads.

Nice to preview my post and note that it’s as much about the people I share it with as it is the airplane.

I’ve been looking at these Kaboats (kayak/boat). Do you know how how the owner likes it? I like the fact that you can put a motor on them.

Re: Time to Shine

The owner of the kayak boat makes good use of it, serves him well with lots of fishing (not much catching some times) but its very suitable
