Wow!, That certainly is a different perspective on Central Oregon. I had to go back and look at the panel shot and look at the altimeter.

Some trivia. In your photo #120 Mt. Scott is in the foreground. If you zoom in on the peak on the right side of the Mountain you can see the Lookout. It is the highest remaining Lookout in the state of Oregon. 8929 feet elevation.

Yep, I knew that :) I hiked that mountain this summer when I did the Crater Lake century bike ride. It was cool to see it from two different perspective!

It can be hard, while constantly training, to remember the point of all of it -- having fun! That looks like an awesome trip!

Congrats on expanding your ops!

Mind a little thread drift? I noticed you've added an extended exhaust and I hope you'd entertain a few questions as it is something I've been considering.
1. Exhaust construction, including diameter?
2. Performance reduction?
3. Noise reduction?
4. What engine are you running?

Hey Marcus,
The exhaust is actually a factory install. This Wilga in particular was built for surveillance and is fitted with a FLIR gimbal mount. For this reason the exhaust was extended to behind the camera location. So I don't really have a basis of comparison for noise and engine performance difference. The engine is a Lycoming IO-540. I would be happy to get some dimensions for you if you're interested.

Luckily I am a nerd as well as a pilot so I have some plans to mount some of my own instruments on the mount adapter plate which was included in the purchase!

As a data point, if you could grab a diameter measurement that might be interesting. When I looked at the High Sierra pics I couldn't see it, so I thought you had just added it.

Sounds like we have great entertainment to look forward to, I'm at the opposite end of spectrum when it comes to the modern photography, etc.
