The web site did not provide a price, but rather a notice that "These tires are on backorder". Which of course could mean tomorrow or next year. My guess is, it isn't a short wait, otherwise they wouldn't have that up on the website. MTV

There's a similar discussion going on at the supercub site,
I was just looking at the Desser website as well as googling to try to find the 850x10 and/or 29x10 smoothies but no luck.
Can anyone point me toward pricing info?
A buddy of mine is running ABI 10" wheels & shaved 29x10 Airhawks,
these Desser tires might be a lighter, less expensive option if he ever wears out his Airhawks--
although that'll take some doing!

Having run both, if I lived and flew were I was not landing in really rough off airport stuff I'd put the shaved 29s on and run them for the next decade. Knowing I'm going to be landing in the rough stuff on occasion, I love my 29" heavy tread Bushwheels and so does my airplane.

I put 850's on my scout to deliver to the new seller and was abruptly reminded that bumps do actually exist on the earth. A year on 31" bushwheels will convince you that anything less than a full-on ditch is only an optical illusion.
I have a scout in the shop that was on 31s and had an engine out (dont run good with only air in the tanks). I can't believe how much damage there is on the plane. Big tires are great, but you still have to fly appropriately to avoid damage...akaviator wrote:asa wrote:Seems like this setup fills a void in the market perfectly, and I hope it will make those damn Gar Aero adapters and shaved airhawks be a relic of the past.

A friend recently lost the motor in his 4 place experimental and put it in a swamp. He was on 31s and other than leading edges getting beat up taking out willows you'd have never known. Amazing how nasty the stuff was that those Bushwheels rolled over.

Found it. Looks like they mistakenly put PA18 in the heading:
