No matter the conditions, the best pilots/airplanes will still perform the best. Taking off and especially landing in the wind can add a whole new set of challenges, especially when operating on the fringes of the envelope.
Anyway, not preaching, just the thoughts that were going through my head today as I waited for results, wondering what the winds were really doing and if they calmed down at all for the delayed event.
