...although, actually, 'went' is misnomer. The plan was to go get a plane in the states this summer...then we caught word that an absolutely lovely 152 was coming up for sale in our neck of the woods.
A week later (which was last week) I was running to the bank after work on Monday, and yesterday we did a fun little 2.5 hour loop of mountain & beach buzzing.
Now we get to stop saving and start throwing money into the avgas/oil/maintenance hole, and we're pretty happy about that
