Where did you fly today?

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

That is a funky looking panel BRD, looks like it was made from a chunk of counter granite.

Figure ice in Brainerd is about 12-15 inches. Trucks have been going out for a while now. (Without falling through.. ;)

Were not allowed to see that video in "my country" ( The great white North of communist dictatorship, igloos and year round parka wearing gun hating drones ) Due to lame ass copyright laws. Too bad. Time for a VPN.

Re: Where did you fly today?

Flew out to Gravelly Valley on Monday to camp for the night. We had a great time! Unfortunately on the way home the fog never cleared at Rio Vista and we had to leave the planes 20 miles away up at Nut Tree. I was able to go pick the 170 up earlier today though.

Everything is GREEN after all of this rain we've had

I assume this is all western-slope stuff in the video? How is it we are getting hammered on the Front Range and you guys are snowless and dry? :)

I can't wait to get over the hills this summer and play in your area in my Cubby!

Re: Where did you fly today?

We got a couple of inches over Christmas and it looks like it may stick around a little while. Not forecast to get above freezing for a week or so.
The next video will have much more snow in it.
Hope to get out tomorrow or Sunday and head over to the Moab area.
I can't usually get that low over the Black Rocks area as it is such a popular camping site during rafting season.

Re: Where did you fly today?

Flew up to Red Hills to give Jack and Myrna a Christmas gift. They are looking forward to the 2nd annual fly-in this year. Sure is pretty up there after the rains.
