WingX for my 182
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Jeredp: The airplane resided near that region of California 7 yrs ago. I did not own it at that time. Have you seen it down there? What do you know of it?

That's cool, I ferried it from Stockton, CA to Cashmere, WA(my home field). I did it for a friend(Keith Sutton) who arranged the purchase for a friend of his on the west side.

Well it been over a year since the Wing-X has been installed.
The main reason why I bought it was to pack heavier loads into the back country and shorten take off and landing runs.
I measured a 500' section of grass prior to the runway pavement. This is a uphill bumpy run. I tested this over many different days, temperatures and weights. Here is my report:
I only have Take off tests:
Without the Wing-X average runs were.... 430' - 490'.
With the Wing-X my average runs are ......370' - 400'.
Landing test notes
Casual landings are in the 400-500' range. I usually just land, taxi and go about my business. I haven't tried any "Valdez STOL" testing yet.
Overall its roughly 15-20% shorter.
+400 lbs gross increase.
It performs as advertised

Does anyone have photos of the inside of the extensions before they go on?
Do they have a little false spar inside them, or are they a hollow shell sort of thing?
