WTB: Straight tail 182

As some of you may know from other posts, I've been looking for an straight tail 182. I'm about to have my second one fall through after being under contract. If anyone knows of one that maybe isn't listed yet or isn't already on the online databases, please let me know. Thank you!!

Re: WTB: Straight tail 182

Someone posted recently that "BirdyinBOI" had passed away unexpectedly.
At the rush of sounding rather vulture-like,
his 182 might be going up for sale at some point.
Contacting bereaved family members is a rather awkward situation though,
so probably best to let some time go by first.

Come on man really? I know you have some sort of pathological need to post a reply to every single thread on this forum but seriously? You don't think the rest of us could figure this out on our own? Maybe you should start counting to 10 before you hit the submit button...

Hey there! I know of a 58’ that is a real good looking plane. Friend of mine has it here in KBNO, might be a real good candidate. Beautiful crushed velvet, with lovely seafoam green yokes!

All that one needs is a chandelier hanging from the ceiling and a scantly clad girl in the passenger seat...

Re: WTB: Straight tail 182

Ington6, it went away pretty quickly. Not sure if it was bought locally or seller had remorse once seeing his add. FWIW check the “for sale” sites several times a day and remember, you’re not the only one looking for a plane. It is a sellers mkt and you have to be quick on the calls. Good luck!

I know where one is in Texas. Think it has a recent overhaul. I don’t know the owner but a buddy of mine does.
