Re: Flight Following

Morning fellers: -7 here and if the M7 will start it looks like a gorges day to fly. I have on all the warm closes I brought.

Route KLOL to S33 Madras, Or. 3hr to S33. 1.5 hr on the ground to check my vacation home. Then over the Cascades to KTTD. .75 hr S33 to KTTD

The spot will be on. I will gas here at KLOL if the pump will work in this cold wx. I may have to go to KWMC if I can't fill at KLOL.

Hope to be in the air by 10-1030. 503 720 one nine one seven

Re: Flight Following

Haven't seen this much interest in a flight since my buddy flew thru Nellis AFB control zone with out clearance headed north. Them boys were pissed. Called him all the way north for 2 hrs  A month later they were still trying to pin him down  Partial call sign was the key 8)

Well, I be the next to use this thread.

I'm planning to leave Caldwell, Idaho (KEUL) for Fullerton, CA (KFUL) in the morning around 8:30am (Mt. time).

My planned route (hopefully no detours with an over night stay in beautiful, Lovelock, NV!!):

Caldwell, ID (KEUL) direct to Austin, NV (9U3).

Plan A: Austin, NV (9U3) to Bishop, CA (KBIH) (Fuel stop). Then hopefully direct from Bishop to Fullerton, CA (KFUL).

Plan B: Austin, NV (9u3) to Tonopah, NV (KTPH) (Fuel Stop). Then pretty much direct to Shoshone, CA (L61), Baker, CA (0O2), then direct to Fullerton, CA (KFUL).
