I'll be there on my little 6.00s...yep I'm suffering from little tire syndrome.

I tried my darndest to talk my buddy into skipping his Friday class but wasn't successful. I will be picking him up at the Pocatello airport at 9:15am Friday morning. I'm stoked for this!

Your 600's will be great Whee! C u soon!

Glad you found someone Whee! Looks like we both will get to play with our birds. We will be leaving around 8-9am. Should be there by mid day. I'll have 123.45 up to listen to anyone inbound! Temps have been increasing too! Looks like it will be perfect!

Fuel update here from KCXP - $4.99 is the price we are getting from Carson. You do not need a discount code or anything. They are making the price for this weekend starting Friday-Sunday. Thats the best fuel price around for certain!

Took a few out to our fly-in location so they could practice a few landings prior to arriving with 80 people watching.

No problem for these guys...

There has been a Mooney there, a Lake renegade...what next a light jet?? Maybe a turboprop! This just shows how nice the field is for everyone!

I'll be happy to pick up a fellow Swede wherever you land and fly you in! I was born and raised just outside of Stockholm (Järfälla) myself.

Re: High Sierra Fly-in Oct 24-27 Also see pilot info thread

Spent the past hour looking up flights and schedules and am pretty frustrated. Flights on this short notice are really expensive and also it's basically impossible to make it work with being back in time. I should put that money in my C185 savings account anyway :-)

Thanks Oregon180 for your generous offer! Even though I'm not Swedish, just living and working here 6 months per year. Do you ever come back? Do you know of any backcountry flying going on here?

I put the 29s back on yesterday. The Maule is packed. Today we will scrape the bugs off it. Last week she got clean spark plugs, new oil, and filter.

Cheers...Rob

Haha that was awesome. Not sure I feel like picking up a million pieces of trailer though.

Nice! How much of that stuff you bringing Rob?

I'll get home tomorrow and will get the plane packed for a Friday morning launch! All week has been like the night before Christmas!
