This was my first of hopefully many. Great opportunity to stretch ones flying/landing and judgement skills in a neat environment of community support.
Can't get exposure to this kind of flying many places.

DocMoon, Welcome, If you hang around this bunch you will probably learn a bit, there some that know a lot, some that think they do, and then some that don't! We mostly get along?? If you tag along you can learn a bunch, just don't take anything as Gospel! Always check it out yourself, Your the pilot!!

Hey Rob, don't feel one bit bad about that landing, you were just caught in the act... The rest of us were just sighing relief that it wasn't us.. And it could have very easily been any one of us.. That spot is actually one of the most technical places a guy could land a plane.. I would ride with you any time and any place...!!!!!!!

I wasn't there, but from the pix it looks like a helluva recovery to me!! Nothin bent, nothin broke, outstanding landing!
I've had a couple that looked worse and cost more!!
