All the pumpkins at the 2 places I went to were to big. So I went for cantaloupe instead. :D

If we arrive Saturday morning (8-9) will there be a group flying out and about? Also are most staying in tents on the dry lake bed?

Weather's looking great down here in Southern Oregon! I'm bringing a buddy who's a new pilot and Skywagon fan (naturally) :D with me.

Should be down there by early afternoon! Hoping to hook up with Highroad on the way down.

Work has screwed me again guys, I have to be in the office now tomorrow, PLUS both the wife and kids are sick, so I'm not likely to make it. A chance I might buzz up Saturday, but don't get worried if I don't show. Really bummed and pissed, as I really haven't had a good flying trip this year due to work and other stuff.

Have fun, be safe, take pictures. If you get buzzed by a red RV4 Saturday, that was me.

With much weeping and gnashing of teeth I must regrettably not attend. I caught the flu last weekend and despite my efforts with anti-biotics and everything I'm just not over it yet. I took a flight today and even just going up to 3000 gave me a pounding sinus headache. Definitely out for Friday. I'll see how I feel on Saturday.

Waaaaaaaa....

Just got back from the lake bed and Zane has a special request.... He forgot his chair, could someone flying in tomorrow please bring an extra. Thanks! 22 planes so far!

EDIT: Don't worry about the chair, Cory has it covered.

I'll be heading in late afternoon on Saturday. I might have a buddy riding along. Better late than never.

Re: High Sierra Fly-in Oct 24-27 Also see pilot info thread

The plane is packed, gassed, and ready for an 8am launch. Should be there around noon. So now the question is, should Zane have Sadie's pink princess chair or Tyler's monkey chair? Guess he's too big for either and would have to answer to one of them when he broke it. Best to bring a real chair I guess.
