I'll post more later but if Kevin, Rob, and Steve don't mind, I'm sending this one in to AvWeb.

Wow, Scott! That is a fantastic shot! From just the few pics we've seen already, I suspect that puddle is going to figure prominently in some of the best shots from this weekend!

Re: HIGH SIERRA PIC THREAD: Post em up!

Great pictures guys! Good to see the pond getting thrashed, that was the first thing I thought of when I first saw it. I was going to take one of my plane being towed (it was handy have the rear tow point ring there, used for dragging it around on the skis in the winter when required) tail first down the Battle Mountain runway by the airport pickup, but was too busy keeping an eyes on things. The first 50' went well, and then he started speeding up, and when I waved to get his attention (I was sitting on the tailgate) he hit the brakes! Could have been a problem and very nearly was, but wasn't, and the rest of the tow job went well. Darren at Battle Creek, was very helpful and much appreciated.

The last time I had a problem resulting in being non airworthy was also at a paved airport (pin hole leak in a brake line while on the wheel skis at Afton), funny with the many off airport sites I frequent, when I break done I do it at an airport, I'm either good or lucky  I need to stay away from paved airports.

I kept trying to get one of the tricycle gear guys to fast taxi through the puddle so I could take a tri-gear skiing photo. No takers. :)

Link to all my Google photos. I took a few videos too. Only the picture of Steve turned out really good. The rest are kind of... meh.

Re: HIGH SIERRA PIC THREAD: Post em up!

I have a lot of photos to post. But, I find doing so a very tedious process. Is there some way to batch upload?
