HIGH SIERRA PIC THREAD: Post em up!

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Slight threadjack... Did you guys have much trouble getting Little John's plane home?

What happened to LJ's Maule?

You're thinking the wrong Little John.

HIGH SIERRA PIC THREAD: Post em up!

Mike B and Brad with CC came over and gave a hand made it possible and the drive home was a non issue. It was Lil Johns. Not Little Johns.[emoji3]

I'm sure there must be some socially redeeming value in *that one*! When someone figures it out, please let me know. Oh, wait, it's the gap, isn't it?

Sting Flight's video of the event, which I couldn't bring myself to paste together for 10 days. Tyler and Tom took off only seconds before I was going to launch for home, too.

Tiny tires @4:35 lol....they are 8:00x6 not the biggest for sure but 300 non turbo charged horsepower gets you 160 or so on a nice warm day up there in the high lands....and 8:00x6 can go anywhere 8:50x6 tires can go.

Great job on the video too!

Yeah, roger that! Mine were no doubt the smallest out there, @ 4.8" x 8"--utility trailer tires ($21 each, though)!

Right now, I'm just a freaking STOL flyer, trapped inside a plastic, bubble-topped, light sport. And as soon as I can unload it and move into something I should be flying, instead, I can start getting ready for next year.

Anybody looking for a good LSA that flies 120 knots all day on 3.8 gph?
