PC-12 popping into 7B3 is new to me. Pretty amazing. Squirrels probably had a good look at its belly at the far end of the runway...

I saw a twin something or other parked out front a while back, so bigger planes are showing up now with the pavement.

I flew my T-6 and Widgeon out of Hampton back when it was grass, no problem. Much more comfortable doing that then flying some underpowered singles in and out of there on a hot day.

No, not any more, I moved to Michigan a year and a half ago. Fond memories of Hampton, great place, great people.

Hampton is a really cool little airport. I've got great memories from picking up my 180 there last January.

It's not for sale as far as I know. I guess she still flys! The owner is a mechanic, I am told. I guess its like the home builder living in his half completed house for 10 years....

I really like them. Super comfortable.

But I like my Bose Quiet Comfort 2s better.
