The Flightaware data is nice to have. It looks like he started out at a controlled descent rate of about 540fpm until the last two recorded mintes where he jumped to 800+ and then 1200+fpm which may or may not be too significant considering he was descending with a purpose. I wonder what his comms with center were at that point? Hopefully he was able to keep it controlled to a survivable landing spot. Another cold night is not good.
