I need a set of skis for sure! Seems like I can't do everything right away #-o but i flew it through 6 inches of snow with the wheels just for fun anyway

Do you have cabin heat? I haven't put the doors on my Challenger because I'm afraid the windshield will just fog up in cold weather. That and flying with the doors of is a kick. :D

Cryzyivan - thanks very much. Wish I could figure out the process for myself. Spent an hour reading the "tutorial" but only succeeded in raising my blood pressure by ten points!

Mau Mau - Thanks. It will be interesting to see what's left of it after the bears are done. That's grizzly country. I think I'm going to have to add some 3/4-inch plywood this summer. I see another Otter charter in my future.

Get an electric fence system.....I've used them to protect camps and airplanes for years in bear country, both grizzly and black. And, protecting camps while unoccupied. They are cheaper than camp supplies and cheaper than an otter charter, by far. Best of all, you'll sleep better when you're in camp.

Might even save a bear's life :D ..

You're welcome. It's easier than you think.

Just go to the picture that you want to use (go to the big picture, not the thumbnail) and about a 1/4 of the way down the screen on the right there is a line that says Image URL. Click on that. Then you will be taken to a separate page. Copy the URL at the top of that page and then paste it into the [img ]pastehere [ img] line.

I always open a second page in the browser (two BCP tabs open) to do this. That way I can work on my post and then go back to the photo gallery with a single click.

Hope that helps.

I was turning it on in the morning and just letting it heat until we got back to camp and knew whether we were going to fly. I don't have any installed heat devices on her yet so was using three things...a 200 watt ceramic space heater, a 100 watt drop light, and a battery warming blanket that was spread out low in the cowl. With a few hours both days it was nice and warm both times.

Here are a few pictures of G44's beautiful new Aviat Husky A1-C that he asked me to post.

This plane is simply amazing and I was fortunate enough to get a ride. Thanks Kurt!
