Although admittedly not a backcountry bird, I wont kick her out of the hangar...Lionheart is the current ride that I have been entrusted with caring for. I still have access to a couple of Maules, a J-3, and Decathlon when I need to scratch my itch for off airport ops.

wow never seen or heard of a Lionheart before. I think that is the slickest round engine plane I've ever seen.

There are only 4 of them that remain, of which only 3 are flying with the 4th relegated to live out it's days in a museum. This one is the prototype and the plan is for us to fly & maintain it until the day that the designer / builder decides to donate it to a museum as well.

Re: Photo thread: Show Us Your Plane!

Well now that it's official I thought I'd show off my new purchase! She was delivered today and I was able to get a great flight in, instantly fell I love with it. I have a few plans and things I want to do to make it my own but I couldn't be happier with how it is to start.
Got it from a very nice man in Sheridan who took beautiful care if it, I'm curious to see if any of the north west folks here have seen it around?

Here she sits at her new home in Ashland (s03).

Nice plane, Mike! I don't think we've met. I keep my 180 in a T-Hangar at Ashland. Hope to see you and your plane soon! Congrats!
