Project: Cessna 170B BACK IN THE AIR!!!
Aircraft building and project-level overhaul forum -- Kitplanes, experimental amateur-built, homebuilding, or even restoration of certified aircraft.
Today I installed the Selkirk flap tunnel cover and a new fuel selector plate. I also got the foam inside the doors and put on the new door and window seals.

Thanks for the help with the doors Justin, and the beers were good too!

Yes, I'm keeping the shock mounts.
Avion solid mounts them when they replace them, I was just curious if there was an advantage either way?
All the newer cessnas are solid too I think. I am by no means being critical, you are doing a excellent job!

Very cool Rob! Get it done before more kids come along! From my experience, as the number of kids goes up, so does the amount of time your wife will want you home to help out

Beer and airplane work? Maybe you should look for a test pilot for that first flight.

Not much to report but the seat rails are going in soon and I reinstalled the fuel vent lines in the cabin.
