This will also depend on whether you're flying a tailwheel or nosewheel airplane, among a hundred other things already mentioned in this thread.

Since drag is directly linked to the square of airspeed (rather than a 1 to 1 ratio), it seems to me that the aerodynamic braking will start to become less effective very quickly as you slow down even a little. So I'd guess that the "Crossover" point (where wheel brakes start to be more important than air brakes) will happen faster than one third of the landing roll. But that is of course a completely biased opinion from someone in the wheel brake effectiveness business...

I don't think everyone really wanted the horse to die in the first place. Otherwise the owner would have just shot it in the first place, and we wouldn't be logging on to flog it some more, in the hopes it would keep on going. :D Are you confused? I am confused. #-o
